Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei strongly criticized the sacrilegious practice against the Koran in some European countries through the Twitter on January 25.

The defilement of the Koran committed under the signboard of “freedom of speech” clearly shows that Western countries have set Islam and the Koran as a target of attack, he said.

He called on all the people over the world aspiring after freedom to fight against the despicable policy of the West spreading hatred, by joining efforts with Muslims.
