The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates scathingly criticized the UN for keeping mum about Israel’s acts of aggression.

It asserted in letters sent to the UN secretary general and president of the UN Security Council on March 22 that Israel is engrossed in acts of aggression because of the UN’s complete silence on them and the US administration and its allies’ limitless support to it. 

Israel’s missile attack on Aleppo International Airport interrupted humanitarian work for earthquake-hit areas, the ministry emphasized.

The ministry demanded again that the UN secretary general and the UN Security Council discharge their responsibility and duty according to the UN Charter and ensure no recurrence of such attacks.
