The St Petersburg city government in Russia on May 25 announced that it would prolong the anti-epidemic measures taken to check the spread of COVID-19 until August 31.

The mayor of the city signed the relevant document.

Accordingly, all events and meetings without special approval are to be prohibited and the measures related to anti-epidemic work, including mask wearing in public places, will continue to be in force.
