Russia plans to organize new military districts, combined army corps, divisions and brigades in its efforts to bolster up its defence capabilities. 

The head of the general bureau of organization and mobilization of the General Staff of the Russian Federal Armed Forces said on June 2 that two military districts (Moscow and Leningrad military districts) and two combined army corps (ordinary arms and air ones) will be set up this year. And five divisions and 26 brigades will be newly formed. 

To this end, 863 measures are reportedly to be taken so that the country can bolster up the recruiting and military mobilization departments can mobilize personnel and means of transport under diverse situations.
