A command post exercise was recently conducted by Irkutsk missile combined unit of the Strategic Rocket Forces of Russia equipped with a mobile missile system.

The drill involved more than 3 000 troops and about 300 pieces of technical equipment.

The service personnel of the mobile missile system moved for 100 kilometres to deploy technical equipment and practised the methods of camouflaging and organizing guard duties.

They also conducted a drill to cope with subversive and sabotage scouts.

The Russian Ministry of Defence said that the exercise demonstrated the great combat readiness of the combined unit and the professional qualifications of the service personnel.
